This year’s Autumn Fair was a great success again !
Despite Bungendore becoming sister town of Chicago (“The Windy City”) for the period of the fair.
It was made successful again by the attendees and large numbers of volunteers heeding the call to assist David Webster, who as we all know is deep into the construction of his new house.
I’m sure we all echo Jacinta’s sentiment regarding David’s efforts again this year :
“I’m sure I speak for everyone in thanking you for your leadership, energy and organisational skills in making this happen.”
Many thanks to Ed Cory for his excellent photographic contribution which can be found here. Make sure to have a look to see what happened on the day!
One of our stall holders had this to say about the day:
“Hi David, thank you so much for all your help today. Despite the dreadful wind and conditions I made good sales with an increase over last year. Imagine how much better it would have been under more favourable conditions!!!!!! As always a fantastic fair, please pass on my congratulations and thanks to all your fabulous assistants. On a positive note the wind did keep the bees away from my product.
Kind regards, see you next year
Thank you to all the amazing stall holders and to everyone who were involved throughout the day!
